    Along the western edge of Zita Lamb's Gault Road property, small houses for her geese and ducks were partially submerged on April 16, 2007.  Last year, during the Mother's Day flooding, Lamb lost all her spring chicks.  This year, she lost some goslings. (The Bedford Bulletin/Kevin Shalvey)

    A gazebo is entrenched on Zita Lamb's Gault Road front yard, where usually there is an 8- to 10-foot-deep pond.  On Sunday, April 15, 2007, when the rain began, Lamb had to rescue one of her male peacocks from the gazebo. (The Bedford Bulletin/Kevin Shalvey)

    At the border of Bedford and Amherst, Route 101 flooded on Monday, April 16, 2007.  The water rushed from the north side of the road and broke up the gravel bank on the south side. (The Bedford Bulletin/Kevin Shalvey)
