The deadline for the New England Shakespeare Festival Sonnet Contest is August 1, 2009. Top prize is $500.  The top three prize winners will also have their poems published in The Raintown Review, and will have a video clip of a Shakespearean actor reading their sonnets on the NESF web site. For lovers of waterfowl, there is also a Rubber Ducky Sonnet Contest.  The fee is $3 per entry.
