There is no denying the facts were testified to by eyewitnesses, clearly.  To call it a metaphor is calling it a lie.  To deny the actual personhood of Jesus, His actual crucifiction, and His actual bodily resurrection is to brazenly deny Him.  He is the ONLY way to Heaven.  Jesus said that himself, no metaphors, no apologies.
