The drive thru line smaked around the building and out on to Wasnington street. Why not a drive thru fee. 50cents per order.

I suggest this for three reasons. First it will get some of us off our fat duffs, out of the car and into the fresh air. Imagine the calories waddled off on the stroll into the coffe shop, bank, resturant Pharmacy etc.

Second by shutting off the car it will save energy. Yes if you have to idle more than thirty seconds it saves fuel to shut the car off and turn it back on. Get ecersise and save money.

third revenue first for the state but how about 10 cents of it going to the host community.

Id it the trans fat or the we are fat. Let me try to explain from a tax payers point of view. If the cost of living goes up then reapprasiles, new construction should increase the tax base. Tax base times rate should show an increase of money avalible for the city to spend. You don't need to raise the rate every year. A three percent increase every year wold lead to a doubling of the rate every 24 years. After twenty plus years in my current home I pay as much for taxes as I did PIT when I bought the place. The rate has gone up a third and value more than tripled.

Maybe its time we held the line
