After a trip to witness cutting-edge technology at the Panasonic Center, I am headed to Narita/New Tokyo Airport. I will be sad to say goodbye to this fascinating country and my new friend, interpreter Sumiyo Terai. When I travel to exotic places my mind becomes a blank slate, I remember nothing of my other life (apologies to my darling children) and sink entirely into that time and place. I marvel that you can be fully engaged on your travels and yet so mindful of your humble readers back home. You've taken multi-tasking to a new level! People who've experienced the Other Worldliness of an Eastern culture can appreciate what a feat you've managed.
Yes, yes, you must tell us more!! (I have some ideas about the venue.)
Love and godspeed, Nora

re: Homeward bound

I left a comment yesterday but it never showed up. Perhaps it was censored!
I only wondered if the Japanese newspaper was hiring.
We have all been sitting on our hands waiting for your return. You can only imagine how hard it's been to produce a newspaper without the use of our hands.
The blogs are so great they will probably earn you a second invitation to Japan!
