It has been hard to be away from my computer. Well now I have a few minutes to read the earlier blog entries. I got goose bumps, you have such a beautiful way with words. It's a thrill experiencing this trip with you through the miracle of the web. Thanks for taking the time to fill us in. Al Gore just was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today, he is in the same distinguished group as Teddy Roosevelt. Somehow this makes 1905 so real. This is important work you are doing for the next generation. You are constantly in my thoughts, even though I can only tell you that from a Starbucks. Enjoy, Enjoy. They may be ubiquitous, but their switches and swirl patterns vary the world over. A toilet mishap is therefore forgivable, I think, especially considering we have all had them. Of course, I couldn't say that with certainty since the experiences we have with toilets tend to be solitary, but I'm inclined to believe that it is so.

Hope all goes well in Kyoto.
