Team. It looks like they were back in New Hampshire again. This time, they were at the Amos Blake House Museum in Fitzwilliam. It was a pretty good show. Have a look:

Ghost Hunters at Star Island and Kimball Castle in Gilford

Ghost Hunters, on the SciFi Channel, has to be one of my very favorite guilty pleasures of the reality television genre. I'm not sure whether it's the thought - or hope - that there is something larger than us out there that makes me watch, or if it's just that I like the T.A.P.S. team. These guys are true New Englanders, hailing from the small state of Rhode Island, and they speak with a south-of-Boston accent that makes me smirk every time they say "wicked" or "all set." In short, these guys (and gals) are my "peeps" - so whether they are just having fun with their EMF meters and thermal imaging cameras, or really are making contact with beings from the other side - I intend to tune in whenever I find it on the tube.
Last night the T.A.P.S. (short for The Atlantic Paranormal Society) gang was in New Hampshire again. A previous show had them spending the night at the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse and Coast Guard Station in New Castle. This time, they took a boat out to Star Island, one of the nine rocky Islands that make up the Isles of Shoals. Five of the islands fall on the Maine border; the other four - including Star Island - fall on the New Hampshire side.

The paranormal posse also took a trip to Gilford, to explore the purported haunting of Kimball Castle, which sits atop Locke's Hill overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. The property is in need of repair and restoration, and there are plans on the table to turn it into a historic inn and restaurant. But do the ghosts of Benjamin Ames Kimball and his daughter-in-law Charlotte still roam the property?

If you care to find out, please visit Hulu.com.

Update: The video was up for only a short few weeks. But if you search Hulu.com again, they may feature it in the future.
