The ManchVegas Roller Girls
I've been wondering about the newest thing in sports, Roller Derby, a sport which is really not so new at all, and the group known as the ManchVegas Roller Girls. Roller Derby, it seems, is so popular (again) that there was even a film, Whip It ,

Extreme Makeover: Manchester to air
The day we've all been waiting for is almost here. No, I'm not talking about Van Halen at the Verizon Wireless Arena. I'm talking about the two-hour episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that was filmed in Manchester last fall. It's

The Pine Grove Christmas tree?
I have to say it. I'm a little disturbed that the Parks Department felt that it was okay to pluck a perfectly spry spruce tree from a cemetery - yes, a cemetery - to use as a Christmas tree in downtown Manchester. Not just any cemetery, mind you,

Entertainment in the city; who would you like to see?

Oprah-Obama drama; coming to a town near you
I hear Oprah's coming to town. This is a treat. I'll bet she has never set foot in our tiny little state. She'll most certainly draw more attention than all of the Presidential candidates combined. It's fun to watch New Hampshire get all
