Oprah-Obama drama; coming to a town near you

I hear Oprah's coming to town.

This is a treat.  I'll bet she has never set foot in our tiny little state.  She'll most certainly draw more attention than all of the Presidential candidates combined.  It's fun to watch New Hampshire get all this publicity for just a few months every four years.  The rest of the time, we don't really matter too much.  But when candidates are running for President, it's 'all eyes' on us.

Winfrey is expected to be in Manchester on Sunday, December 9, stumping for - surprise - Barack Obama.  Ever since she announced her allegiance to the Senator from Illinois, Oprah has been on the Obama bandwagon.

So far, we don't know where the Queen of daytime television will be appearing.  But one thing is for sure.  We are in for a Beatles Invasion-like experience.

Get out your Sharpies.  This may never happen again.

UPDATE:  The appearance of Oprah and side-kick Presidential Candidate Barack Obama will take place at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on the evening of Sunday, December 9.  It is a ticketed event so you'll want to contact the Obama Campaign if you want to get your hands on a pair of the limited tickets available for the rally.

I can not fathom how people can support Clinton or Obama when first with Clinton ,and all the scandals Bill's presidentcy had and the currant contribution scandal's,and lack of transparency with the Clinton Library Papers why there would not be the same in her next 4 years with her and Bill or second with Obama's convictions on why he is running why did he not vote yes or no and vote Present on 130+ bill's as a state senator? Will he take stands like this as a President? Seems he can not take a stand on many issues, when you hear them both talk you almost know what they both are going to say because its what the people want to hear to make them think they will really make change? I also think with todays congress to be a senator you really have more power to make changes as you do if you are President. Thank you ,oh and I approve this Message Proud Caucus attendee Merry Christmas

WELL SEEMS IF HE IS A MAN OF CONVICTIONS HE TO WOULD HAVE MADE PUBLIC his golden parachutes? has he said what he as a senator retires with? what is his pension? full pension? including free health?

Below is what he said in iowa,

"That's just not fair," Obama said Friday. "It's not the America I believe in. It's time to stop cutting back on the safety net of working people while protecting the golden parachutes for the well off."

We don't need someone who knows how to play the game better, we need to put an end to the game-playing, he said. Seems he was good at playing Illinios Politics and voted Present on more than 130 bills ,his record shows he is good at playing the game better?oh my ..........

I got an Idea GO VOTE for OBAMA ,seems Obama is really still just talking, why does obama support the idea that HIGHER teacher pay is going to help students? he wants to spend $18 BILLION for higher teacher pay?(LIKE THAT WILL MAKE OUR KIDS SMARTER?) there goes the taxes thru the roof, If that were true that I say get rid of the busses and get Cadilac's to drive kids to school? I almost think the federal gov needs to stay out of education and give this issue back to local school boards? Let those people tell the Local people they need more money to pay for Higher teacher pay and tell the local folks they want to do away with the Federal test score standards and such?
