The Candia Congregational Church is lit up on Saturday, Dec. 8, during the Lights on the Hill festivities. The annual event is held the second weekend in December and includes a variety of seasonal activities for families to enjoy. The area is lit with hundreds of luminarias, which allow visitors to walk to a variety of venues featuring food, live music and entertainment, children’s activities and shopping. Lights on the Hill is free, however, the organizers did request that visitors help support local families by donating warm gloves or a hat.

Angela DeFreest of Candia, a student at Central High School, was one of the many musicians who performed during the festivities.
