NH Winery Wins 6 Medals

In results just announced, Grape Time Winery, a division of IncrediBREW of Nashua, NH was a awarded a total of 5 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal for wines entered in 2 separate International Wine Competitions.

The 9^th Annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, held in Rochester, NY, attracted over 2000 entries from all over the U.S. and the world. Grape Time Winery won a Silver Medal for its Chocolate Raspberry Port, Gruner Veltliner and Merlot, as well as a Bronze Medal for its Pinotage.

Results from the 2009 Riverside International Wine Competition, Riverside, CA showed that Grape Time Winery’s Granny Smith Riesling and Chocolate Raspberry Port each won Silver Medals in their categories. At this year’s world-class event, an expert panel of judges from many areas of the industry evaluated 1,883 entries.

“It is an honor to be recognized by professional judges for the wines that we produce here in New Hampshire. To receive these medals and realize that we are being judged alongside the bigger, more well known and prestigious wineries, is truly exciting.” said Dave Williams, owner of IncrediBREW. He added, “To send wines to California, the heart of the U.S. wine industry, and be honored with 2 silver medals validates all the hard work we’ve put into making great wines for our customers.”

IncrediBREW and Grape Time Winery will be featured on NH Chronicle and Fox 61 News next week. The crew from NH Chronicle paid IncrediBREW a visit and we were honored to host the taping of this wonderful New Hampshire news program. The show airs Monday thru Friday from 7:30 to 8:00 PM on WMUR, Channel 9.

Additionally, Jim Altman, a reporter from Fox 61 News in Harford, CT, recently brewed at IncrediBREW and will host a feature story about his experiences on the 10 PM news on WTIC-TV, Thursday , November 20th. You can catch the story on http://www.fox61.com.

Community Members Work Together to Raise Funds for the Animal Rescue League of NH

Grape Time Winery and the Animal Rescue League of NH have partnered up to market several varieties of wine, of which the sales will ultimately benefit the League. The partnership includes a local artist, Molly Poole and five local venues that will sell the wine. Harvest Market of Bedford, the A Market Natural Foods store in Manchester, Sully's Superette in Goffstown and the Wine Studio, LLC, in Manchester and Londonderry have all agreed to support the League and carry the wines. For each bottle sold to a local store from Grape Time Winery, the League will receive a percentage of the sale. The Harvest Market of Bedford store manager, Janice Morin stated, "Supporting our community is important to us. We feel that the Animal Rescue League of NH specifically is a worthy non-profit and we have shown this through our support of the League in the past and will continue to do so in the future. We are thrilled to be a part of this community effort to assist the animals at the League."

Grape Time Winery, a division of IncrediBREW, Inc. which is located in Nashua, NH approached the League about this ongoing corporate partnership. The winery, which boasts 13 years of wine making experience, uses quality juice obtained from the major wine producing regions of the world, including France, Italy, Australia and California. Each batch of wine is hand-crafted, fermented, bottled, corked, labeled, and aged at the IncrediBREW store in carefully controlled 30 bottle lots. The careful selection and creation of each wine produces an end result of quality world class wines. Grape Time Winery owner, Dave Williams, stated, "We are proud of the wines that we produce at Grape Time Winery but we are especially proud that they will be carrying the Animal Rescue League label. It is an honor to be working with them and to support, in our small way, their efforts to help the needy animals of our community. This is truly a Wine with Soul and a Cause with Heart!"

Five varieties of wines have been chosen to date to be carried in the stores; a German Riesling, a Super Tuscan, an Italian Amarone, a Gruner Veltliner and a Pinotage. Paired with each wine is a beautiful watercolor label created by New Boston artist, Molly Poole. When choosing artwork for the labels, the League's representatives felt that Molly's work reflected the style and feeling that we wanted the wine labels to portray.

Grape Time Winery Wins 8 Medals!

Grape Time Winery, a division of IncrediBREW in Nashua, has recently been awarded a total of 8 medals for wines entered in the International Eastern Wine Competition and the Indy International Wine Competition. The International Eastern Wine Competition is one of the oldest and largest competitions in the United States. This event was recently held in the Finger Lakes region of New York with over 2,100 entries, including wines from 16 countries and 34 states. Grape Time Winery won a Silver Medal for its Super Tuscan and Bronze for Gruner Veltliner.

The 2008 Indy International Wine Competition, held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Blue Ribbon Pavilion, is the largest wine competition in the US. This year the Indy International brought in over 3,200 wines from 15 countries. A total of 4 silver medals were awarded to Grape Time Winery, one each for Cabernet/ Shiraz, Zweigelt, Super Tuscan and Chocolate Raspberry Port. 2 Bronze medals were presented for Viognier and Gruner Veltliner.
