The Currier Museum of Art hosts Oktoberfest in celebration of Autumn. On Thursday, October 1, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, visitors are invited to experience locally-crafted beers, live Bavarian music, German-inspired food, and art.
This special First Thursday event features a 15-minute gallery talk at 5:45 pm: "Card Players by Jan Miense Molenaer" and from 6-7:30 pm Live music by the Zour Krauts. Smuttynose Brewing Co. and Milly's Tavern will host beer stations.
Event costs $10 members, $15 for non-members; includes museum admission, live music, beer mug, and first pour. This is a 21+ event. Reservations can be made online at

This evening is part of the Currier's First Thursday series. On the first Thursday evening of each month, the museum is open late and provides programming designed to inspire visitors to try something new.
