More than 250 business leaders, supporters, and friends of The Franco-American Centre are expected to attend the organization's 15th Annual “La Cave Aux Vins” (The Wine Cellar) Wine Tasting Event to be held on
Friday, July 17th from 6 PM – 8 PM at the Franco-American Centre, located at 52 Concord Street in Manchester.
Wines from California, France, and South America will be featured, plus great breads, international cheeses, and delicious hors d'oeuvres.
The Jazz Dogs will provide musical entertainment.
Tickets for “La Cave Aux Vins” are on sale at $35 per person, and include the wine tasting, buffet, and entertainment. Limited $100 raffle tickets are available. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Franco American Centre Building Restoration Project, which has a 2009 fund raising goal of $400,000. Constructed in 1910, the Franco-American Center was designated an historic building by the New Hampshire Preservation, and is listed as one of New Hampshire's “seven to save”. “La Cave Aux Vins” attendees will have an opportunity to view the restoration work underway to save the original architecture of this historic building.
