The Timberlane Professional Orchestra is performing the Third Annual POPS Concert on April 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center in Plaistow. The POPS concert, conducted by Timberlane’s own Anthony DiBartolomeo, features Nat Chandler, straight from the Broadway Musical Stage. Mr. Chandler toured with Robert Goulet as Lancelot in Camelot, stared as Sir Percival Blakeney in the Scarlet Pimpernel and performed with Yul Brynner in the King and I and the list goes on. Critics have written about his rich comedic gifts and fine tenor voice with great acclaim. Some of the numbers he will perform are from Chicago, Les Miserable, South Pacific, Phantom, Chorus Line and for the youngsters of all ages, a Mary Poppins favorite that will highlight his comedic talents.
The Timberlane “Professional” Orchestra will perform selections from West Side Story, a Tribute to John Williams, and the always popular with the Boston POPS, music from Leroy Anderson. Ask any previous POPS concert audience: “Bravo!” Outstanding!” “Breathtaking!” “Fun!” and “I Can’t Wait until the Next One!”
