This Easter Weekend, hop on up to Waterville Valley Resort. The Waterville Valley Resort ski area will close for the season after the Easter Weekend. Weekend Easter activities at the Resort include an Easter Sunrise Service & Easter Egg Hunt on April 12th. Take the lift to Waterville's annual sunrise Easter Service at the summit. At 5:30 a.m. the white peaks will start loading skiers and foot passengers. The Base lodge will open as well. At 6:00 a.m. The Sunrise Service will start and last 30 minutes. Open to skiers and non-skiers, you can either ride the lift back down or take advantage of complimentary skiing and riding until 8:00 a.m. A full Easter Sunday breakfast is served at the Alpine Grill in the Resort's base lodge immediately following the service.
From 8 to 9 a.m. the kids can enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt on the J-bar for ages 12 and under. Then at 9:30 the Waterville Valley Recreation Department will host its Egg Hunt Frenzy with prizes on Packard Field.
On Saturday, the Waterville Valley Recreation Department will offer Easter basket decorating from 11 a.m. to noon, Egg Coloring from 1 to 3 p.m., and the annual Egg Drop Challenge at 4 p.m. in the Town Square (free).
