Northwood's 3rd Annual Hayride and Festival of Fun

The Town of Northwood Recreation Department and the Northwood Elementary School PTA are holding a Haunted Hay Ride and a Festival of Fun.

The event is to be held:
Date: Saturday, November 1, 2008
Place: Camp Yavneh
Time: Festival beginning at 5 pm and running through 7:30 pm
Haunted Hay Ride beginning at 6:00 pm and running till 8 pm.

A Community Bonfire will follow both events. The Haunted Hayride promises to be even better than last year with over a dozen different ghouls, ghosts, goblins all in their favorite haunts as you wind through the CAMP on a tractor pulled wagon.

The Festival of Fun is new this year and will include the following non-haunted activities:

~ Music by DJ Ken Curley
~ Can you find the Prizes in the Hay?
~ Pumpkin Bowling
~ Can you guess Dead Joe’s Body Parts?
~ Candy Corn and Pumpkin Toss
~ Bean Bag Pumpkin Toss

The Northwood Elementary School PTA will be manning the Concessions offering Hot Chocolate, Hot Cider, Water, Hot Dogs and Fresh Popped Pop Corn. This event would not be possible without the generous support of Camp Yavneh and the Town of Northwood.

Rain Date: Sunday, November 2, 2008.

Babysitting will not be available. Parents must attend with children under age 12. If you are interested in volunteering for the Haunt please call Kathy Boudreau, Northwood Recreation Commission (942-5586 or e-mail Town of Northwood Rec Dept.).
