New Hampshire Historical Society offers bus tour to Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site

The New Hampshire Historical Society is offering a bus tour to the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, New Hampshire, on Wednesday, October 1.  The daylong tour also includes visits to the Cornish Colony Museum and the nearby Plainfield Town Hall.

Each stop will have a guided tour and admission fees are included in the tour registration.  A box lunch is also included and will be served at the Saint-Gaudens' home, Aspet. Participants may want to bring a blanket for picnicking.

The luxury tour bus leaves at 8:45 a.m. from the New Hampshire Historical Society's museum parking lot on Storrs Street in Concord.  During the ride to Cornish, attendees will be able to view the new documentary video, "Augustus Saint-Gaudens: Master of American Sculpture."

The tour is open to the public and is $75 for New Hampshire Historical Society members and $115 for non-members.  Join the Society when you register and qualify for the reduced bus tour rate.  The bus tour will be held rain or shine and there will be no refunds.

To register, call Chris MacLeod, Education Services Coordinator, at 603-856-0604 or email her at cmacleod@nhhistory.org. A registration form is also available online at http://www.nhhistory.org/saintguadensbustour.pdf.
