Spend Summer Evenings Dining and Dancing onboard the M/S Mount Washington
Weirs Beach, NH—Enjoy fun summer evenings Monday through Saturday cruising, dining, and dancing aboard the M/S Mount Washington. This July and August the ship offers different entertainment six nights a week. Whether passengers are interested in dancing to their favorite tunes from live bands, having a romantic evening, or enjoying family fun, the M/S Mount Washington offers something for everyone.
The dinner and dance Cruise schedule follows:
Fridays, beginning June 27- Theme Cruises
Weirs Beach, regular cruise time is 7:30 p.m. to 10: 30 p.m. with the exception of the Friday, Fireworks Party Cruise from 7 to 10 p.m.
The music and/or menu are tailored to a particular theme. Guests are invited to play along by dressing for events such as '80s Wave or '70s Dance Fever. One of the most popular Friday evening cruises is the Lobsterfest Cruise, featuring Maine Lobster- a New England delicacy. Also, on Friday evenings Weirs Beach is host to weekly fireworks displays and cruisers may catch a glimpse of the show from the decks of the ship as she returns to Weirs beach. Costs $47 per person.
Saturdays, beginning June 28- Saturday Night Party
Weirs Beach, June 28 and August 30 cruise time 7 to 10 p.m.; all other Saturdays 7 to 10:30 p.m.
Step aboard for an evening of partying in the lakes region. Saturday nights offer a seafood and beef buffet dinner, live entertainment on up to three decks, and fun for everyone. Costs: June 28 costs $47 per person; all other Saturdays cost $53 per person.
Mondays, beginning June 30- Rock, Roll & Remember
Weirs Beach, Cruise time 6 to 9 p.m.
On Monday evenings the M/S Mount Washington honors the young at heart with the popular Rock, Roll, and Remember night. Cool musical tunes range from the "Fabulous 50s" to "Rock-n-Roll." These nights are a great way for the big daddies and cool cats to get together for a nostalgic bash on Lake Winnipesaukee. Passengers over 60 years of age receive a $10 discount off the regular ticket price. Costs $43 per person.
Tuesdays, beginning July 1- Family Party Night
Weirs Beach, Cruise time 6 to 8:30 p.m.
This is a special evening for families to enjoy a summer night on the lake. The cruise includes a child-friendly buffet dinner, live entertainment on two decks, balloon sculptures and face painting. Passengers should bring cameras to capture entertaining photo opportunities with Monty the Mallard, the official cruise mascot. Cost: One child under the age of 13 will cruise for free for each adult in the party. That's just $86 for family of four. Additional children and youths 13 to 16 receive $10 discount off adult ticket.
Wednesdays, beginning July 2-A-La-Carte Night
Weirs Beach 4:30 & 7:30 p.m.; Wolfeboro 6 p.m.
The M/S Mount Washington offers an evening on the lake for the same price as a daytime scenic cruise. Once aboard passengers can simply enjoy the cruise and dance the night away or they can also order dinner on the ship's designated dining area. Reservations can be made in advance or onboard with the host. Costs $25 per person. Dinner is optional on this cruise, and ticket price does not include dinner.
Thursdays, beginning July 3-Dinner Dance from Meredith
Meredith, 7 to 10 p.m.
In July & August the M/S Mount Washington cruises from Meredith every Thursday. Passengers are invited to experience the romance of Lake Winnipesaukee at night. This is a full night of entertainment including a buffet dinner, dancing to live music and a beautiful sunset. Costs $43 per person with the exception of a special Seafood Festival cruise on Thursday, July 31 that costs $47 per person.
The M/S Mount Washington's official season runs from May 17th through October 26th.
