DANBURY, NH – New Hampshire’s fifth annual “Best of the Wurst” celebration of German food and culture will take place over Memorial Day weekend from May 23rd to 25th at Alphorn Bistro at Inn at Danbury.
Join Chef Graf in the celebration of the Bistro’s most recent award 2008 “Best German Restaurant” from NH Magazine reader’s poll. This is the 4thyear in a row the Restaurant has been awarded a “BEST OF NH” title and this event will be a great opportunity to enjoy his award winning cuisine and meet the Graf family who were recently featured on ABC’s Wife Swap. Enjoy fresh Bratwurst & Schnitzels and an array of many German Beers and wines with live German Music provided by Mike Kaelin a strolling accordion player. In addition to German foods, and beer, the festival will hold Trachten contests and free German wine tasting(times TBA) Throughout the weekend, prizes will be awarded for best dressed German, Swiss or Austrian Trachten.
