WEIRS BEACH, NH-- As a sure sign of spring in New Hampshire, the Grand Lady of the Lake- the M/S Mount Washington will offer her first cruise of the season with a special Champaign Brunch on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11th.

The Mother's Day cruises depart from Weirs Beach at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for two and a half hour scenic cruises with complete champagne brunch buffet and live entertainment. Special fares are $38 for adults, children 4-12 are $19, and children three and under are free.

The M/S Mount Washington's official season runs from May 17 through October 26, 2008. Daily cruises depart from Weirs Beach and service the ports of Meredith, Wolfeboro, Center Harbor and Alton Bay.

Mount Washington Cruises operates a fleet of three motor vessels that offer day, evening, charter and island mail delivery cruises on New Hampshire's scenic Lake Winnipesaukee. The 136-year tradition of the MS Mount Washington began as a summer attraction. Today, the family-owned Mount operates May through October, offering daytime scenic, evening dinner & dance, and special themed cruises.  With a capacity of 1,250 passengers, the Mount serves as the largest restaurant in the state and a popular gathering point for school proms, college reunions, large corporate celebrations and weddings.
