First of all, I desire only to see our community benefited for not just the short term, but for our children after us. Any frustration we have ever had is only when we feel the town may be missing benefits that we bring to it.

As for the individual who is concerned about my understanding who owns the property, with all due respect, you could not be more wrong and your judegment is greatly flawed. I admit it can be easy to be confused and develop an opinion of something when only reading one or two sentences from an interview that lasted almost an hour. Why would anyone be attending our church if I had as was percieved such a gross misunderstanding of the life of Christ in all of us and Who it is that really is our Strength?

Even the apostle Paul is quoted as saying "...I labored more abundantly than they all...." . If we stop only at this sentence we would gain the same opinion of Paul as some may have of me...until the rest of the story is read..."yet not I, but the grace of God that is within me." I learned a long time ago to not make judgements before the proper time.

If there is a question of our ministry's motives, I think a better and more scriptural forum would be to come to us personally, not expose the general public to hear out and deveop opinions of Christian judgement in a secular forum. I trust that those who read your opinions are also reading my response lest they develop ideas based only on your judgement. Tommorow they will use it as a reason to not come to Christ because things like this only feed the falsehood that "...ministers are in it only for themselves..."

Maybe a question of our motives should be posed to those who have chosen our church and actively fellowship there.

Even after this rebuttal, I would still want to apologize if my intentions did not come through. Please forgive me.

Pastor Joe Johnsick
