FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Manchester,NH – Jan 04, 2009 – Do your kids see dead people? Bend spoons with their mind, know what you are thinking or have some other hidden talent? Beckah Boyd is a psychic medium and currently authoring a new book called Raising Your Gifted Child giving parents step by step instructions when it comes to adapting to and understanding their children’s abilities and how to enhance them.
She is looking for kids from ages four to fifteen to use as case studies for her upcoming book. Beckah is offering free testing for the kids who come to see her and free help for the parents with full discretion in her book. “I am not looking to out these kids as psychics, I am just hoping that someone will pick up the book and maybe they can identify with both the child and parent. Names aren’t the focus the journey is.” Beckah says.
Kids face a lot of challenges in their life, but psychic abilities shouldn’t be one of them. Beckah believes it is natural in each of us and that society has taught us to ignore it, but in some kids that’s just not possible and it’s better to face the situation head on.
“Parents see that their child is wise beyond their years or that they are emotionally perceptive to the tenth degree and just don’t understand how to deal with what is going on.” Beckah said she understands how a lot of these kids feel being misunderstood. But it’s not just the parents they have to worry about. “Children are honest sometimes to the point of brutality. They also know when someone is different, that will be who they pick on.” Beckah believes that helping the child to effectively communicate their differences and gain control over their abilities will help to gain them acceptance.
My clients kept saying they wished there was a handbook to raising such special kids and so I decided to write it.” says Beckah about how the book idea came to her. “There is a need for real guidance and empowerment for both the parent and child regarding the abilities. I’m hoping this book will provide that.”

 | Goffstown NH ~ City Library Investigation
Ghost Quest was called in to investigate the lovely Goffstown Library. There we were met by Sandy and Jess, they talked about books flying off shelves, hearing footsteps, an elevator that would go up to the second floor for no reason a few times in a row with no one on the elevator itself, they had called the elevator company a few times to repair it and the company could not figure out why it was happening. We set up a four set of IR cameras on the second floor, two new support members joined us their names were Denise and Jackie, it was their second investigation with us and we were all very excited. Especially Katie Boyd (ghost quest's Demonologist/occult expert) as she had grown up in Goffstown and the library was where she had picked up her first Occult book and got started on her path. We arrived at 7 p.m. it was dusk, not windy, sky was clear, about 65 degrees outside 60 - 63 inside. First we set up intake while Beckah and Raven (ghost quest's two psychic mediums) waited outside, we use wireless lav microphones when doing walkthroughs and intake interviews because it makes the voices loud and clear, however there was a lot of swishing noises in the sound, or it would go dead completely, we attributed that to low batteries in the microphone and so broke open new batteries. Still had the same issue. It took us about a half hour before we gave up and recorded without the microphones. After intake we decided to go ahead and start the individual psychic walkthroughs. Both mediums picked up on the paranormal phenomena as well as drawing times,dates and names. All in all it was an interesting and exciting investigation of a landmark within the Goffstown community, we were both honored and pleased with the outcome and plan to go back for an overnite investigation.
