I have heard of NO hardships as a result of these money and energy saving decisions.

These should stay in effect for this year as well. We are only asking the town to do what we as homeowners are doing as well.

We cannot afford increases of anykind to our taxes.

re: $8.3M Bow budget goes to vote May 14

Isn't Your meeting May 13?

re: $8.3M Bow budget goes to vote May 14

Lets see a 60-70% property value increase along with the increased budget last year increased my property taxes by 19%. I have watched my little ranch go from $2455 (01) to $5490 (07) in only 6 years.

Now we are looking at another $1000 increase this year??? So lets see compounding 16 to 18% increases per year means that in only 3 years (2010) my taxes could be as high as $9000!!!

Wow I guess our education is failing and is far to expensive. Maybe it is about time we stop be so politically correct and become more fiscally responsible. It is getting to the point where our wants are not sustainable and we need to really look at oure needs.

Okay I have to cut it short so I can shovel off the 10 inches of sand off my crumbling driveway that will not get repaved for obvious reasons. Maybe we should keep the roads in poor condition and then the people that complain about speeding will not have to worry any more.
