The Bow School Board has narrowed its search for a new superintendent.
On Jan. 25, the board announced Dr. Dean Cascadden, current superintendent of the White Mountains Regional School District; Dr. Leo P. Corriveau, current executive director of the Certificate of Advanced Studies Degree Program at Plymouth State University; and Mr. Daniel Ferreira, current director of special education for the Bow School District, have been selected as finalists for superintendent of schools for the Bow School District.
This announcement is the culmination of a nationwide search conducted by the Bow School Board, with the help of the New Hampshire School Boards Association. The selection of finalists took many hours of review of applications, comprehensive interviews of semi-finalist candidates, and careful assessment of candidates’ qualifications by a search committee.
This committee was comprised of various community members and included representatives from the school district, the school board, parents and the town of Bow.
The Bow School Board is hopeful that a final selection will be made in March.
The candidates are vying for the position to replace Superintendent Kathleen Holt, who is retiring after serving the district for four years.
