Bedford police handled the following incidents recently:
• On Thursday, April 2, at about 10:35 a.m., Bedford police responded to T-Bones restaurant regarding an unruly man, who reportedly was yelling at an employee. Officer Charles Morley located the suspect on South River Road near T-Bones, and learned that Norman Horion, 54, of Manchester, was wanted on a bench warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Bedford Police Department where he was processed and released on personal recognizance bail pending a court date.
• On Thursday April 2, at about 4 p.m., police responded to Bob’s Department Store regarding a female shoplifter. Arrested was Maranda Gardner 18, of Goffstown, for shoplifting. Gardner was transported to the Bedford Police Department, where she was processed and released on $250 personal recognizance bail. She will be arraigned May 11 at Merrimack District Court.
• On Thursday, April 2, at about 4:45 p.m., police received a phone call regarding an erratic motor vehicle traveling south on South River Road in Bedford. The vehicle was reported as a blue Infinity G35. Officer Brian Masker initiated a motor vehicle stop on the Route 101 on ramp just off Meetinghouse Road. While speaking with the driver, officer Masker detected an odor of alcohol and other indicators of impairment.
Jeffrey Reichenthal, 50, of Bedford was arrested for DWI, and transporting alcoholic beverages. He was transported to the Bedford Police Department, where he was processed and released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail, He was given an April 15 court date at Merrimack District Court.
• On Thursday, April 2, at about 7:15 p.m., officer Michael Cherwin responded to Marshall’s Department Store for a female shoplifter. Arrested was Elena Birca, 26, of Hooksett for shoplifting. Birca was transported to the Bedford Police Department, where she was processed and released on $500 personal recognizance bail. She was given a court date of May 11 at Merrimack District Court.
