Here’s who running for town and school district seats: Town Council – three, three-year seats: Max Darbouze, Bill Greiner and William A. Juch will challenge incumbents Normand Longval, Paul F. Roy Sr. and Bob Young.
Library trustee – one three-year seat: Incumbent Robert Brooks and Leslie Greiner. School Board – Bill Foote will challenge incumbents Cindy Chagnon and Terry Wolf for two three-year seats. School district treasurer – Brenda Bernard and Leslie Greiner will vie for one open seat.
Get out and vote Voters go to the polls Tuesday, March 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Bedford High School, to choose candidates to fill town and school district seats, and to vote on zoning amendments, town and school warrant articles, as well as the school district budget.
The Bedford Town Budgetary Meeting is Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m., at Bedford High School. The only item on the agenda is to approve or amend the town’s 2009-10 operating budget. Only those in attendance can vote.

Supervisors of the checklist will approve additions, deletions and changes to the checklist at Bedford Town Offices, 24 N. Amherst Road on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This is the last day supervisors will accept voter registrations and name, address and party changes prior to the March 10 elections. To register to vote, applicants must present proof of citizenship, age and address.
