Bedford Police Department Detective Division is investigating an assault on a teenage girl.

On Friday, Dec. 5, at 7:38 p.m., police officers responded to Cambridge Road in Bedford for a reported serious assault. Because the incident involves all juveniles, no further information is available.

Police said this is an isolated incident and there is no additional threat to the community. Bedford police are seeking information on a single-car accident involing an injured Bedford woman.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 3:31 p.m., Bedford police responded to an accident on Campbell Road, just south of the intersection of Rolling Woods Drive. The collision involved a grey 2003 Nissan Pathfinder color grey, driven by Margaret Kimball-Davis, 45, of Bedford.

Just prior to the crash, the Pathfinder was traveling southbound on Campbell Road. The vehicle then left the roadway, traveling into the southbound tree line striking a large tree head on. As a result of the crash, Kimball-Davis was transported by ambulance to the Elliot Hospital.

Campbell Road was closed for about an hour and a half. Anyone with information on the accident can call the Bedford Police Department at 472-5113.
