This could be the start of something we'll be proud of, or ashamed of.

Which story would you prefer to tell your children's children?

The one about when you stood up for your rights at a Tea Party Protest, and how it turned into a movement for their freedom and liberty, or how the country used to be, before the Constitution was abolished?

Considering the recent events, changes in laws, and the kowtows and bows of our "President", this is an Historic time.  Please, help write a history we can be proud of, as our fallen heroes did.  We don't have to carry rifles, only signs, (so far).

Tea Party Revolotion at North Church, free tea.... what could be better, except actual change not the "change" offered in the last election. That change harkens back ro the day of the early 1900's when those who had the guts to speak their minds against policies that were bad for the nation were rounded up to ensure their silence. If you believe that there will be no repercussions for our actions tomorrow, you are sadly mistaken. There will be photos and facial recognotion (look your best !) courtesy of those who wish to preserve the myth of Obama's success as our "President".

Where were you people during the Bush administration?  Faux News tea parties are a hypocritical joke.  You're being manipulated by the rich and elite into fighting their battles.

I respectfully disagree.  There were plenty of protests during the Bush Administration and many of them were covered by Fox.  We are protesting the FACT that Obama has spent more than ALL Presidents combined during his first 50 days in office.  If you think that isn't going to effect you, you are mistaken.  Or homeless and/or living off the government dole.

Oh, I am against the wasteful spending.  Which is why I think we should immediately end the occupation of Iraq and forget about re-invading afghanistan, or somalia, or anywhere.  We should close our 800 military bases in foreign countries and cut the defense budget by at least half.  Dissolve the American empire.  Invest our tax dollars in our own crumbling infrastructure, in our own people.

And tax the super rich out of existence.

Yeah, bring home the troops!  We might need them here to save us from our own government employees who are about to be fired.

Obama is planning to bring the best home soon,  (when he removes the "don't ask, don't tell" policy).

Manchester was a great showing.  This is only the beginning!  Stay in touch with everyone, and share all the email adresses, then respond to the calls for calls!

There are many who consider the tea parties as nothing more than a minority wanting to capture a bit of attention. I disagree. We need to consider our actions as a small step toward forcing a change in Washington. The spend all attitude of Congress has gotten so out of control that unless we the people force a no ear marks budget with solid fiscal responsibility we will never see this country out of debt and ownership by foriegn powers. President Obama has stressed the ear marks are a small percentage of the stimulus package. He is right. However, it isn't the amount that is in question rather, it is the principles and behavior of a spend thrift Congress that is at issue. It would seem that reality doesn't exist in Washinton so long as the mint is able to print more dollars and we can borrow more money from China and the like.  May be we need another walk on Washington simply to demand the authors of pork barrell bills to vacate their offices as their style of irresponsibile leadership is no longer needed - Madam Speaker go back to California and let the intelligent conservative community take the lead.

Just a note for you Lisa.

Thank you and God bless you, keep it up.  I took the liberty of sending a link to your post to the teapartyday.com site.

I hope that was ok.  I hope you post it all over the web, on all the teaparty sites.

Thanks again, Dave Ross   (a.k.a. mogabe, shhh, hehe)

You're very welcome.  It was great to see patriotism alive in NH and it was also nice to see that for the most part, there was no party representation.  It was just a large group of Americans standing up for what they believe.  Incidentally, the last time I was at a rally in that park was just after 9/11.  I was moved by yesterday's events.  Everyone was very respectful and it was clearly not a "fringe" group at all.  There were professionals, policemen (I saw one and he was not working), Veterans, retired folks, families, blue collar men and women, your average middle class American.

Sure, there were a few signs that might considered over the top by some, but for the most part it was your average American.  Even though it was a protest, the overall feeling was a patriotic one. This is what happens when the "silent" majority comes out of hiding.

Pelosi spoke out today and claimed that they were not grassroots movements at all.  She said, "This initiative is funded by the high end - we call call it astroturf, it's not really a grassroots movement. It's astroturf by some of the wealthiest people in America to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich instead of for the great middle class."

If only.

I was there.  I'd say the rally represented the Middle Class very well and was a perfect example of a grassroots movement.  She is so far removed from the "real" America that she doesn't know what she is talking about.  And the rally in her own state yesterday speaks volumes.

The illogically and ridiculously radical responses from the would-be royals shows their fear.  They have been drinking their own koolaid when they think that disenfranchising the most honorable, brave and willing Americans; OUR VETERANS, is a good idea.

This, on top of the aforementioned removal of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding you-know-what.  Pardon me, but; HOLY CRAP!

Even Pelosi's eyes are bulging out more than ever.

The news coverage was so transparantly propagandized by the networks (I won't even give them mention) that even the hypnotized are waking up!   Those who participated surely have watched, and will continue, and will not forget.  The obvious response will be to solidify and establish the chasm that is widening and deepening.  I hope they wake up soon.

No one organized me, and my organization effort failed, sort-of.  This isn't anybody's Tea Party, this is everybody's Tea Party.  It's not a political party, it is the people willing to say; "enough is enough".  The people willing to organize, on their own to act as a group.  Perhaps one big enough to say "BOO" loud enough to scare up some attention.  Goverment has grown to big and too powerful because too many have been too trusting.  That is changing, rapidly.

My pledge, join me,;

God Bless Our Veterans!  Thank you all for my freedom and liberty.  I promise not to let anyone take them from my children, as you did for me.  I will do all I can, peacably but not quietly, to preserve your gifts to us, paid for in blood.  I will continue to carry signs and keep calling, e-mailing and writing to our leaders and representatives to keep them obedient.  I will support and promote candidates who promise to adhere to the principals laid out by our founders, and hold them accountable.  Whether alone, or in a group, I will not give up my post.

Our group, The Coalition of NH Taxpayers, was a sponsor of the Tea Party in Manchester and one of our Directors spoke in Concord.

There were about 2,500 people at the Manchester event in my estimate measured against the 1999 CNHT cookout we had in Hopkinton where we sold 1,500 tickets. 2,500 is a big crowd for a week day.

In any case, if only a small portion of the people who attended the Tea Parties this week become involved with any of the 20 sponsors, NH will have taken a huge leap forward towards freedom and smaller government.

The timing of this event and ones which will follow come at a time when activist orgaizations such as ours are most effective. I have been at this for 20 years and have seen waves of conservative grass roots uprisings come and go - state wide and in towns. This is a golden opportunity to educate and motivate new activists.

I hope for NH's sake and our country, people start coming to meetings, reading our web sites, donating time or dollars, working for a candidate, listening to conservative talk radio, and any number of things which will empoer them to take on the libes who have given us an incredible opportunity.

Never pass up a liberal caused crisis.

Greetings Ed,

Remember to always plug the station WLMW 90.7 FM!  Say it twice, or more.  Say everything important twice, or more.  Even in church it's book-chapter-verse, repeat.  (mostly because men need to hear everything twice, ask any woman)

I think being almost annoying has a lasting effect, and therefore, makes the delivery more effective.  I've annoyed some people effectively enough to rest assured that it will never be forgotten, and yet, some remain still willing to communicate and debate, offering witness opportunities to observers.

Anything that encourages and excites communication, conversation and debate is worthy of engaging in.  This truth is what the original concept of a citizen government proved, in this nation.  If enough common people were involved, common sense would prevail, so goes the logic.  Serving used to be serving, not ruling.  When there aren't enough common people involved, we get this...mess.

Some people are better communicators than others, and some venues are better than others.  The newspapers are still good, but the blogs are the future.  I am pleased to have my Dad's prophecy be true; "radio will never die".  Radio rules, but the blogs are rising.  (Writing is great because you only write it once per exposition, unless it's prose or song).

Sorry I had to shout it out, (WLMW 90.7 FM !!!) after you left the stage, though no one around me seemed to mind.  I humbly and loudly thank you for being on-the-line and in-their-faces.  You are an example to follow.  Keep it up, Ed.

The Tea Party movement is in motion; it is a movement.  The First ammendment is powerful when used and scary to liars.  Let's all keep using it; loudly!

All this baloney about astro-turfing was just Pelosi talking points. And the nutty left swallowed it. Their whole party is run by astro-trufer supreme George Soros, who owns the Dems, owns Obama and who made $1.2B on this phony crisis. He and Kissinger are loving what this crisis has enabled them to do.

And the preemptive strike of Napolitano issuing that report about how we are all dangerous terrorists, well how's that working out for you?

LOL

I loved it... almost 4,000 strong on the 15th

And these people are getting closer to finding out that their 401ks were looted to give money to the foreign banking cartel, Obama's puppet master for the world governance they are planning.

Funny how Obama is not going to close Gitmo and just sent 80,000 more troops to Afghanistan and is following the same exact policy as Bush eh? Not that I agree with it, but it's the same since they same people run things, the superrich, and they have puppets who are rich but not quite as like Pelosi and of course their major puppet Obama.
